This web site was created to help more dental professionals learn about the blessings of missionary dentistry. It contains a mission trip database of over 100 trips scheduled to occur all over the world, including information on the cost and the sponsoring organizations. In addition, there are journals and photo albums of past dental mission trips, along with helpful information for those who would like to consider going on a trip.
This Christian ministry offers free medical and dental treatment to those without insurance in Newport News, Poquoson and York County. Dr. Griffin volunteers and serves on the board of directors at the clinic, and other team members of City Center Dental Care also volunteer their services through this ministry.
This is a nationwide organization that exists primarily to organize, equip and publicize dental mission trips around the world. Most of Dr. Griffin's dental mission trips have been through this group. He has served on the board of directors of this organization, and currently serves as an advisory board member.
This nationwide group ministers to American health care practitioners, equipping them to serve others in both private practice and missionary settings. Dr. Griffin currently serves on the dental advisory board of this organization.
This is the church that Dr. Griffin and his family have attended since 1984. It is a conservative presbyterian church, a member of the Presbyterian Church of America.
This is a ministry of Calvary Presbyterian Church, offering rigorous Christian education for students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Dr. Griffin's children, Dr. Tao's children and many other patients have greatly benefitted from their classical approach to Christian education.
This is the largest dental professional organization in the world, offering continuing education and other valuable resources for dental professionals, as well as helpful information for patients. Dr. Griffin, Dr. Greenwell and Dr. Tao are all members of the American Dental Association.
This is the state component of the American Dental Association. Like the ADA, it provides good continuing education opportunities for dental personnel. It also offers special opportunities for financially challenged patients to receive the care they need.
Peninsula Dental Society
This is one of the eight components that make up the Virginia Dental Association. Meetings are held periodically that enable dentists to keep abreast of current dental techniques and philosophies. Dr. Griffin currently serves as Editor of the Newsletter for the Peninsula Dental Society.
